Customer Artwork & AI-Generated Design Policy

Customer-submitted files

Customers are responsible for the accuracy and quality of artwork, images, logos, text, and 3D models they submit. Please check spelling, dimensions, resolution, proportions, backgrounds, and design details before approving production.

AI-generated artwork

AI-generated artwork may contain blurry details, distorted shapes, incorrect lettering, unwanted objects, or other defects that become more noticeable when enlarged or printed. An image that looks sharp on a phone or computer may not produce the same result in a physical print.

Dirty Designz does not guarantee that AI-generated or low-quality artwork can be reproduced without visible defects. Printing, resizing, or converting a file does not automatically correct its underlying problems.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dirty Designz is not responsible for print-quality issues caused by defects or limitations in customer-supplied files when those issues are reproduced from the approved design. This includes pixelation, blurry edges, distorted text, unwanted details, and other artifacts present in the submitted artwork.

Artwork cleanup and conversion

Artwork correction, background removal, vector conversion, resizing, and 3D modeling are separate services unless included in your quote. Additional work and fees require your approval before we proceed. Some files may need to be replaced or redesigned.

An AI-generated image is not automatically a printable 3D model. Converting a reference image into a physical object may require design changes, modeling, and your approval of the resulting interpretation.

Proof approval

When a proof is provided, review it carefully before approving production. Approval confirms the design, wording, placement, dimensions, and other specifications shown or stated in the proof.

Digital proofs show the proposed design and layout; they are not an exact guarantee of physical color, texture, finish, or material appearance. Any material limitations identified by Dirty Designz should be resolved or expressly accepted before production.

Changes requested after approval may require additional charges and a revised completion date.

Color and material variation

Screens, printers, inks, materials, and finishes reproduce colors differently. Exact screen-to-print color matching is not guaranteed unless a specific matching standard is included in the accepted quote.

For 3D prints, layer lines, support marks, and surface texture may be normal characteristics of the agreed printing process. Required dimensions, fit, finish, and tolerances must be discussed before production.

Ownership and permission

By submitting a design, you confirm that you own it or have permission to reproduce it for the requested purpose. This includes any logos, trademarks, characters, photographs, and other protected content.

Using an AI tool does not, by itself, establish permission to reproduce protected content. Dirty Designz may request evidence of permission or decline a project.

You authorize Dirty Designz to use your submitted files to evaluate, prepare, and fulfill your requested project. This permission does not include using your design in advertising without separate permission.

Reprints, refunds, and production errors

Reprints or refunds are not provided solely because of customer-approved artwork errors or file-quality limitations that were disclosed and accepted before production, except where required by law.

This policy does not exclude responsibility for Dirty Designz production errors, defective goods, or a failure to meet the agreed specifications. If there is a problem, contact customerservicedirtydesignz909@gmail.com with your order details and clear photographs so we can review it and provide an appropriate remedy.

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
